广东茂名多位村民因抗议政府征地封海遭警察殴打 Sep 18th 2013, 03:22, by wqw0 （维权网信息员李军报道）广东省茂名市电白县建设茂名滨海新区，在电城镇岭脚村区域动工建设吉达港。2012年7月开始，当地政府强行封锁岭脚村前海修建电煤码头，致使长期以捕鱼为生的村民收入骤减。本来当地政府承诺给村民每户30万元补偿，后来竟然被克扣到每户6百元。 前些日子，村里组织多位村民集体到省里上访，没有结果。 2013年9月16日，岭脚村大量村民在前海抗议政府征地封海，遭上千警察镇压，包括老人小孩在内的多名村民被打伤。
