选举观察简报之二十四：村民维权获得选举权利 Jun 9th 2014, 09:02, by wqw0 （维权网选举观察工作室）在今年一月份的广东地区村委会换届选举中，佛山市南海区大沥镇嫩北村因土地矛盾，当地官方一度取消选举（参加选举观察工作室简报之二十一：佛山市大沥镇嫩北村取消选举，http://wqw2010.blogspot.com/2014/04/blog-post_3993.html）。 为了争取法律赋予的选举权利，村民逐级上访到广东省政府。本网报道后，当地于5月24日进行了迟到的选举。在选举中，原村长胡宝祥落选，村民维权代表胡英垣当选村委会主任，一直坚持收回土地的维权者吴崇彪当选村民代表。
